First day of Camp

Last week, I went up in the mountains. It was fun up there, even though it was pretty cold. On the first day of camp, we arrived at 1 o'clock. We got inside the lodge and was taught the instructions and rules of the camp. After that, we were put into groups. There was five groups, and was in group three. Our group was called The Three Dragons. Afterward, we played some games for the rest of the afternoon. Next, we had dinner. It was yummy!

Grease Compare/contrast

 In the original Grease movie, there was a song called "Look at me, I'm Sandra Dee". In the song, the character Rizzo is making fun of Sandra Dee by wearing a wig and talk in a really annoying voice. Also in the original, Frenchy wasn't happy with Rizzo making fun of Sandra but joins in later. Whereas in the live version, Frenchy just joins in without considering her friends feeling. It seems so two sided which Frenchy doesn't seem to be. Overall, I prefer the original version as it made more sense character wise and it sounds better.

Question: What is the Industrial Revolution and why is it important?

The Industrial Revolution is when Britain has decided to make more money by using machines and having people work in factories. People's lives were slightly easier since a middle class was made for people who had money, but not enough money. We can see how the middle lifestyle still exist here in the present, proving that the IR was helpful to our society. Overall, this has made Britain a more wealthier and powerful empire.

Industrial Revolution

It's when people started to work in factories in Britain. There are three phases. The first phase started between 1770's to 1860's in Britain before spreading to the USA and North and Western Europe.
The second phase was in between the 1870's to the 1950's, it has spread to NZ, Australia, Eastern and Southern Europe, Russia and Japan.
The third phase is from 1960's to present day. It has spread to Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and South Korea. Also it was in Turkey, India, Brazil, Chile, and Argentina.
